Looks like you have security problems with the house to start with to much glass to low to the ground glass in doors. Stupid. Door jams are week also I would bet. Dog is a good idea if trained to be friendly only go off on command. Big lawsuit if not. Weapons only if you figured out how get your fight and flight response under control. So you don’t shoot some one accidentally. Target range is not enough.

Ok, when i seen the end... I agree with the rest of the comments, you don't need a special class to teach your dog to do that, that's instinct and they recognize friend from foe... unless you have one of those pussy dogs, which by the video you DON'T, but no classes needed, especially in this economy... Save the money from the class lessons and buy a Glock, a Glock and that big dog is overkill...

From one supposed dumbfuck to another, that was training not proofing. The training was mainly to confirm the dogs biddability while under stress. A dog as you pointed out should not be used an ultimate deterrent but as a part of a team to give me a chance to get my glock. Regards Norman

I trained at a schutzhund club but the dog must be bred for this function, after that you must train for control.
