In this video I'm going to show you how to Root your new Coby Kyros MID7127 thanks to CLShortFuse over at XDA and his SuperOneClick Root Tool. CLShortFuse's work can be found here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
You'll need to download SuperOneClick V2.3.3 - http://shortfuse.org/
If your having driver issues, these Motorola drivers did the trick for me:

silly guestion: I have never had any of these lovely new fangled things, I'm stuck in the 2000 Erra lol. I do not have Wifi enabled in my house, so, can I plug it in and just use it that way at home till I get a wireless router installed? then use it wireless anywhere else supported or am a I completely lost cause LOL

@brooklynlulu - you'll need Wi-Fi for internet to work. I don't know of a way to connect with a cable
