  • JUDAS PRIEST IS MY LIFE, SINCE 1985 !!!!!!!

  • I feel bad for having failed to discover Priest until 2010 :(

Regardless, I think 18 was a good age to do so. Not too young and not too old.

  • @fittingly Excuse me I was wrong, it wasn't in D tune, but in D# , not D minor of course. I'm sure its the right tune, i tried to play with the song in background and it fits perfectly! Try to tune yout guitar like this: D#, A#, F#, C#, G#, D#, if you're not conviced i'll make a video! :D

Yeah, dude, look, here's what's up: It definitely ain't in Dm.

Set your guitar in standard E tuning, and follow this chord progression:

Am, F, C, G — and the solo key employs an A natural minor mode.

It isn't in Dm, that's for sure.

Thanks, holmes. But I just picked up my favorite axe again, and tuned it to the piano, and dude, it really sounds like the song's in Am to me.

I'm pretty sure it ain't in Dm. Does this song sound anything like Ozzy's "Mr. Crowley" to you?

  • @fittingly It's in D tuning (holy fuck best song of turbo ever!!!!!)

  • This if my favorite fucking solo of all damn time! I still get goose bumps when I hear it

  • @douchicide I myself found them around 2007, I think I was 12 or something, didn't really start listening to full albums until I was 14. Gonna see them for the first time in April, it's gonna be awesome! Although Halford is not really that exciting to watch on stage, but the voice is still amazing.

  • The only Priest track I like better than this is Steeler. Does this have Glam influence? Sure, but if so, Priest made the best Glam Metal song. Rob's vocals at the end and Glenn's solo and licks made this, imo, the best lesser known Priest song.

Sucks they've never played this live once, they need to perform this for their final world tour, though Rob may not be able to hit the notes today. Would still love to hear it live though.

  • I just read that this should have been on top gun soundtrack...

  • This is a better "hit" than Breaking the Law or Living After Midnight, and yet it's been forgotten.

  • ALL HAIL THE PRIEST OF HEAVY METAL
