Rosie was born on 8/13/10 and was rescued three months later by the ILLINOIS ENGLISH BULLDOG RESCUE. Rosie, along with 18 other bulldogs, was surrendered by a puppy mill breeder in Missouri. The puppy mills in MO were downsizing secondary to recent legislation that limited the number of dogs they could keep.
Rosie has a heart condition called a VSD (Ventral Septal Defect). That means little Rosie has a hole between her left and right heart ventricles. The good news is Rosie was adopted by my loving parents on 12/31/10 and now lives with her best friend Daisy, another bulldog (also with a heart condition) from the ILLINOIS ENGLISH BULLDOG RESCUE.

bulldogs always look sad, I SHOWER MY BULLDOG WITH SO MUCH LOVE. but it's the face that makes 'em look sad they know there loved.
