might be because games have gotten more complicated. 90's games were simple, really, really simple.

Did you even bother to read the comment I was replying to? I HATE Call of Duty. It's repetitive, boring, and over-hyped. Not only does every game look exactly the same, but there are also plenty of FPS games that are more fun, like Team Fortress 2, Halo, and Metroid Prime (but that one's an FPA). But I don't only play FPS games either. Some people in my school have finally started to stop buying COD games.

@michiyoyoshiku well I cant see it as coincidence that a whimsical flying character teaches some children to fly with him/her in an enchanted new world. Not to mention the appearence of big ben in a nights level, and the fact that Nights has an English accent in the wii game

I was actually born in 1997, so I sort of got into the new stuff.
I've been playing the old games a lot recently, and I do say that graphics do not make the game; they add to the game.
What really makes a game fun is its gameplay and uniqueness.

Back then you had to actually use your brain and imagination and figure games out by just simply....."PLAYING".. All these kids today need introductions and tutorials for each new game they buy... kinda sad and disappointing.. only us "RETROHEADS" will understand our beautiful generation of gaming.. the 90s!
