@DblC3 OMG! That just what they did to us too. The boys laughed at us when we came back to class because we hid the little booklet. Our film showed a girl riding a horse and playing a guitar. My Mom didn't tell me a damn thing either. I got it at school and didn't realise what it was at first. Later on I had severe cramps, throwing up. heavy ones, huge clots. I'm in what they call perimenopause now, I might have a period once every three months now.

Fron ages 11 to 17? How about age 8 or 9? That's when some girls start now. It must be all the crap they put in baby formula and preservatines they stick in the food we eat now. Because they keep getting younger and younger. One day, they might start at age 6. They should have told them to change their pads twice a day or more, or to not use Tampax yet. When I was 12 I started and back then the girls that got their period were laughed at.

@teraterakhan have watched any of the cartoons of the 40's-70-'s they were worse than this full of racial and war propaganda. Looney Tunes and Disney being the worst with American ones also various anime even up to now.

When you consider the self-serving horseshit that they used to shovel to the public in those days this film is unusually sensitive and well-meaning. I was expecting horrors.

Disney and Menstruation, that´s really hilarious, lol
How is this glorifying menstruation. It's quite educational; it shows you that there are exercises and other things you can do to keep yourself from feeling any crappier. Your period shouldn't hold you back from life. Lol and I'm sure girls aren't saying they want their period too, they'll get it anyway. It's a simplifying thing I think it helps explain things that much more. Different perceptions I suppose. And Disney needs no shame for this. GO DISNEY!

You know, if the human race could control the midichlorians in the universe, us poor women could be devoid of this nonsense.
