It is quite obvious Coldplay was first to make the chord progression, but damn, i started laughing when i first heard it. Almost like the new rock roll. New Order are on of my favorite bands, so is Coldplay. No need to bash them.

I actually do like Coldplay. But New Order's way better. This video is great.

@heyjudeee The chord progression in viva la vida is also very similar to that of Take On Me by A-ha. It's only changed slightly.

At first i thought it was viva la vida by coldplay..chord progression sounds similar. Great song though :)
