Flat Twist Out - How To (1/2)

Here's how I do my flat twist out - or my version of a flat twist out. Regular flat twists are done to stay in for an extended period of time. I do these larger looser flat twists just to get a big wavy look. This works best for me when it's done on 3 day old hair because your hair is fully dry and somewhat stretched out.

Products used
Mixture of aloe vera gel, leave in conditioner, and Jason Organics Texturizing Cream (I only had a small amount of this left so I put the other products in this container)

I was wondering...I don't using gel. Do you think the shea butter and leave mix will work fine. I have type 3b hair....by the way I love your vids :D and your hair is gorgeous!!!!

I've never been able to get the hang of flat twists but you may have solved my problem! Wish I had seen this video before I struggled to cornrow for tomorrow's braid out. Love your hair, and even though I'm relaxed, your tips help a lot!

Wow, I struggle with flat twists and cornrows and you finally make it look easy. I will have to try this once I wash my hair out. Any tips for transitioners? Should I just rubberband it on the ends to keep in from unraveling?
