Great video bud. I saw your video pop up in my subscriber list yesterday but decided to save it for tonight. And what a treat it was. On Christmas Day 1989, I recieved the SEGA Genesis model 1 and along with it came "Altered Beast". Over 20 years later, I still remember sitting in front of our "Quazar" 21 inch (which I still have) and playing Altered Beast the entire night. It is an interesting game. Not many people give credence to the graphics but some of the sprite design are done bery well.

@segagenesis1989 Altered Beast is a game that a lot of people take for granted now, but it was amazing back then. I'm sure you know where I'm coming from. I love the arcade's sprites, but I really wish it had some parallax scrolling. It would've made it even more impressive looking.

Excellent video dude. After watching it, I popped in Altered Beast for the first time in years and played through it. I noticed too, that the ending on the Genesis version is different from the arcade as well (no awesome film set graphic)!

I would love to see your take on Golden Axe as well; especially the PCE version. Muhahaha!

KI mame PS3? Man that would be crazy. Now if on the PN they did a KI HD version , and get that in mame, that would be awesome. But yea, I've been looking for that cab at a good price. Nothing crazy my way. Still nothing.

Excellent retrospective man. My first time with this game was at my cousins house on this Sega Genesis. I sucked ballz at the game lol, but it was fun at the time. Awesome you got the arcade. I so want a Killer Instinct Arcade...

ah excellent review of a classic game... didnt know it was on the master system before the genesis... but a good game... I only ever played it on the genesis so the other versions were new to me seeing... excellent arcade board you got of the game as well... glad to hear it works fine
