Thanks for the links, LiberalV.
Progressives can make headway by describing Loserman as an extremist out of step with 60 percent of Americans who are against the war. 60 percent of us. Sensible Americans opposed to national-security endangering war are extremists? I don't think so. I say we're patriots.

evanaetor,
This video was my first realization that David Hyde Pierce looks a lot like Quentin Tarantino. Thanks for that ;-)

merrykite,
I'm not sure "the Party has failed us" is fair. In a democracy, we generally need to look for blame for stuff like that in the mirror.
I haven't seen a lot of good leadership from Democrats lately, though

paxr55,
Yeah, Ned Lamont shows a win in a PRIMARY, farther than the internet took Howard Dean. Maybe it will take Lamont thru the general election, too. I saw the head of MoveOn.org discussing it on Colbert at

"Sensible Americans opposed to national-security endangering war are extremists?"
What the ambassador ~meant~ to say was that more than 80 percent of Democrats, and 60 percent of all Americans, oppose the war. And Loserman responds to his primary defeat with an ludicrous construct: that the majority of Americans--and all the Dems in Connecticut who voted against him--are, his words, ~extremists~. The old bag of tricks is empty.

thank goodness! it was a heavy bag!

So does your boss look as much like Niles Crane in person as he does on YouTube?
I haven't read that book, BTW, but one prob I have with the ideas of the DailyKos guys is that they haven't yet translated into votes (e.g., the Howard Dean presidential campaign had the internet, but didn't have the votes).
Thanks for the video! :-)

You'll agree that this medium is all a work in progress, there is a need to jump in and organize in a collaborative manner. because the republicans sure do. and they can raise some funds and influence because of it. the progressive movement is crippled by in-fighting and self righteousness. it is up to us to get the party working again, for us and by us-- and never let them forget it!
