VST Engineering:
Dust explosion in closed, sealed, explosion pressure resistant vessel.
Coal dust was used for the test (Kst 190 bar*m/s, Pmax 8 bar). There was no interference to the explosion.

  • @cakefarts dust explosions involve sudden pressure increase, that can overload the rating of the vessel. so your overpressure theory is actually directly related to dust explosions.

  • i saw an overpressure situation, =-not-= an explosion or combustion of any kind?

  • Very impressive demo. The container did a good job of preventing injuries to nearby people and structures.
