I do discipline European leaders. I write letters to MPs of my own country and MEPs and the European Commission. I partake in demonstrations.

Should I do more before I am in your opinion allowed to voice my opinion on foreign policy issues of the United States? What is enough? Since - to use your terms - my pig pen will always smell like shit. Because it's a pig pen.

I am not saying don't criticize atrocity when you see it...I am saying to focus on one nation is intellectually dishonest. Europeans did elect leaders that eaged war, so the premise of your description is faulty.

Think globally. Act locally. That's not childish, its efficient. You see, I am specifically talking to the nobel committee. Not you. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. You are not the elite directing policy. You are of the people expressing your opinion. These are among the elite who are complicit with the policy and then critcize it. Again you were not my target, the nobel 5 were. Elect your leaders, influence them to act, and we will try to do the same.

European opinion means little to the american electorate (and I am certain the opposite is true) so wouldn't it make more sense to make achange at home?
