The Second Doctor, Jamie and Zoe have been looking forward to a nice holiday. Unfortunately there'll be little chance of that on the Planet Dulkis, where sadistic Dominators and their robot army, the Quarks are busy threatening some pacifist locals.

Vintage 1968 adventure starring Patrick Troughton.

  • @savedbyjesusblood i thought the web planet was rather good. Especially the Menoptra and the flying sequence. I thought that bit was really well done.

  • @Yetaxa It's not asthough the BBC had a choice of which stories to be found. They wiped ALL of the stories. It's good that we have the stories that we have.

  • He is probably my fav Doctor and its also a headache to always know most of his stuff is wiped out!!!! :(

  • It's a few years since I last watched this one, but I rather enjoyed it...

  • The Krotons is brilliant I think, but I can't believe that this whole story survives and yet the whole of Marco Polo is completely gone.

  • @randomdave30 Just watched it tonight, a potentially interesting story bogged down in length and dullness. The Quark robots were neat, but I would swipe this one for any of the dozen stories missing still...

  • @savedbyjesusblood IApart from reading ht e novelisation I have only endured the first three episodes of The Web Planet. Another dull 'un from Tom Baker's time is Underworld - the only thing there that sustained any interest for me was Louise Jameson's cleavage.

  • @randomdave30 The Web Planet was by far the worst.

  • One of the most boring stories in the history of Who

  • @pepsimax252 i agree totally
