I don't know about the whole moster thing, but Ursa did like Zuko more. If you go on the offical website and read Ursa's profile, it actually calls Zuko "her favorite". What kinda shit is that?!

Aw, this is sad and kinda sweet. I think Ursa was a bit scared of what she thought Ozai was turning Azula into, not Azula herself. And she probably did love her kids the same.

I always felt bad for Azula. Azula only strided toward perfection bc she saw what happened if she was anything but perfect (Zuko's scar) and she thought her mom thought she was a monster. If you really think about it. She could of been a good person. If she had the love of a mother and Iroh. (like Zuko)

Azula's evil because she never really got attention from her mom and felt unloved. She uses that sadness to strike fear in others

@RagingBear101 If you watch the show, Azula was always the first to push others away. She burned gifts if she didn't like them, harassed Zuko, manipulated and used her friends... And it is not her mother's fault, who was only trying to protect both her children... Just Zuko was the one who embraced it.

@Kikora21 I really wished people stopped blaming it all on Ozai. Ursa could have gotten close to Azula if she wanted to. Ursa loved Zuko more and since Azula couldn't get love from her, she turned to the only person who actually noticed her. Sure, Ozai didn't love Azula and he only used her for her power but he still NOTICED her unlike everyone else.
