  • A great rendition by Ustad Salamat Ali. It gets quite frustrating when each time that female interrupts him. He launches himself into rendering a unique raga bhava, when he's suddenly interrupted each time! Uff

  • absolute pleasure. wounderful singing.

  • Its Very Very Mind blowing Classical Music & Song , Superb !!!!! Love its , Really Inspire Many Singer .

  • raga sohini,,nice one,,

  • I have heard this beauty many times and still feel that naseem went higher than ustad salamat and deservedly won the competition. Naseem can give moorkian as good as any body else and at a higher note, equalled only by noor jehan in "rassilay moray rassia najaria milaa", both from film mousiqar.

  • Incorrect.......same octive........Female voice remains in the oppisite below octive to the male......U have to understand....Here both r at the same scale......Awesome work btw

  • What a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL song!

  • Listen to this competition again and again and u will realize that naseem begum gas a higher range than salamat ali. Naseem goes into the fourth octave, a feat that I have heard only from noor jehan in "rassilay moray rassia najaria milaa" in the film mousiqar, where she gives her moorkian in the fourth octave also, like naseem. Noor and naseem are the only two I have heard go that high. Roshanara, parveen sultana, lata, asha, etc. Cannot go above the third octave. So u can make your own conclu

  • Naseem's range is as high as possible and she is a complete singer. No weakness at all. I hope she got the recognition she deserved.

  • Naseem begum went into the fourth octave at did the moorkian in very high notes. Ustad Salamat remained at three and a half octave at best. That is why I give naseem at least equal if not better than Salamat. Both are excellent and are jewels of music.

  • entire of rendition is divine but the most i like at 00-3.08 the 'male vocal..

plus it would have been fantastic if we can see three of them singing in real time.

    heaps of thanks for sharing.:)

  • What a classcical jugalbandi grate.
