What a load of book worm crapola. Did it ever occur to you that Boeing posts VMO as a true operational number, not a "fly apart" number? Exceeding MMO at altitude may produce Mach tuck, but at low altitudes, you have not proven that VMO cannot be exceeded without producing critical structural damage, only that the numbers claimed are not approved of by Boeing. Okay.... fine.

Mach number = (gama * R * T) ^.5 It is a function of temperature, R for the medium (air) and ratio of the specific heats (1.4 typical for air. Mach 1 at 72 F is 670 kts.  If you are going 360 kts, you are going .53 Mach, NOT .86 mach. It is not unreasonable to fly it at 520 kts sea level and not have it come apart. I am a Mech engineer...aero... Sorry I don't believe your are correct.
