Amanda Fritz for Portland City Council

Amanda Fritz, candidate for Portland City Council, Position # 1, has released a 30 second campaign advertisement.

Tim Findlay of TGF Productions produced the commercial, which focuses on Amanda Fritz's three primary reasons for running for Portland City Council:

1) Providing basic services in all 95 neighborhoods by spending taxpayers' money wisely

2) Improving our local economy

3) Supporting our schools

"I am energized by the response of Portlanders to my message while visiting neighborhoods all over the city, and excited that more people will become aware of my campaign by seeing the ad", said Fritz. "Each Public Finance Fund candidate is making choices on how best to reach voters with the funding provided by citizens. I believe this is one good approach. I will also keep knocking on doors and speaking at events through May 20." She smiled and added, "I hope Portlanders enjoy my attempt to capture twenty years' service to our city in a thirty second ad."

Amanda Fritz is a Registered Nurse working at OHSU. She was Portland's first publicly funded candidate to be certified in 2006 and 2008. Amanda served on the Portland Planning Commission from 1996 to 2003.
