You were great and very talented! Please feel fortunate to have been able to be there. It was hurtful that the negative part of his critique was so public and in front of everyone, but if you truly want to improve-then I guess you'd take in the good and the bad. He did say some very flattering things about you as well. But the truth was that he didn't b.s. you and just tell you things you wanted to hear. I would love to ride as well as you anyday!

@metallicmagic1989 i bet he was joking around. Ian does have a good sense of humor. a woman i know co-owns a horse with him and his name is Ralph. She told me that Ian was very bored the day they got him that he was like "Oh well. Lets name him Ralph."

@JackAndArora He does it so the auditors - people who come to watch and learn/not ride - can hear. Im sure the clinic was so large and he meets so many people its hard for him to get to know people on a name-to-name basis. I've met him and his kids, some of the nicest people you can meet.
