@Japopeye everyone tests their mufflers at different inches of water. BTW we tested a standard Flowmaster 40series, same size & offset configuration at the same time & it flowed 340cfm @ 28". The Super 40 & 44 were both in the mid 380s @ 28". Since engines don't flow constant, sometimes "low flowing" chambered mufflers still make similar power, because they have more interior capacity then a straight thru muffler. The big thing is each engine/combination is unique & likes different things.
Gotta give some credit to Magnaflow they only claim 431 cfm out the box. It flows better than advertised. I emailed Flowmaster and asked how much cfm their mufflers flowed, they replied with they base on engine size and performance and not flow numbers. WTF??
@Japopeye no prob. I hope to get the other flow videos up one day when we are not busy.
