Last Saturday I woke up with the plan to remove frets from my old trash guitar to transform it into a dulcitar, which is a diatonic instrument without halfsteps. I tuned it in D and started to experiment with it, what was a lot of fun.
This little piece "Sunflowers" has its name because of the new decoration of my old guitar. I hope you like it a bit.

  • Very lovely thank you.

  • @rwd1968 Thank you very much for listening and your friendly comment. I do appreciate it very much.

    Nice greetings from Anette

  • I'm speechless!!!!!

  • This is a gorgeous video, beautiful playing, lovely guitar and a sweet and talented lady in this wonderful mix - it's all the RIGHT ingredients of what it takes to make an OUT OF THIS WORLD, SUPER FANTASTIC and DELICIOUSLY SWEET something to watch. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this Anette and grateful you sent it my way. I love dabbling in the open tunings as well and usually the guitars don't have to be high quality to get a sweet sound like your getting. Made my morning!!! Mark

  • @doctorcastille Hallo Mike, I tranformed an old trash guitar into that sunflower dulcitar. I made it one free day, and I had only a few hours time for it and so I did not fill the grooves and did not paint the fretboard again. It would look better then I know :-)

Interesting that you picked out my instrumentals only. I always record them with a lot of heart. Thank you very much again.

    Very nice greetings from Anette

  • The frets look like they are still there but I guess that's just the grooves left over? This is a very pretty tune - I like your style.

    Mike
