  • What's the difference between Arrivederci, and Arrivderla? Is the latter feminine?

    Grazie.

  • Arriverderla is formal, something we don't have in English. I never use it personally

  • oh! this seems very handy :)

  • you forgot 'Mandi' in Friulan; not to be mistaken for 'Monday' obviously :-). Wonderful kids and parents by the way.

  • I would point out that "Ciao" can (and should) be used both for "Hello" and "Bye" but just in non formal situations (between students, friends, coursemates and in general peers) and "Salve" is a handy word to greet (just "Hello") people you have a personal relationship but you need to keep it formal (a nice professor, your mother in law, ...)

  • Arrivederchi italia! lasciato fuori dalla Coppa

  • @FrenchLanguage ..hi "arrivederla" is more polite than "arrivederci", but the meaning is the same :-)

  • @nigmic si ma solo in toscana

  • im italian

  • In toscana we use "Bona!" to say goodbye xD
