my grandfather shoot Peter Snell by 8mm film at Tokyo on 18th March 1962.
Peter Snell won and ran 1min49.9sec in the 880yards(indoors).

Peter George Snell is a former New Zealand athlete.He had one of the shortest careers of world famous international sportsmen, yet achieved so much that he was voted New Zealands "Sports Champion of the (20th) Century".He came to international attention when he won the gold medal and set a new record for 800 m at the Rome Olympics in 1960. He was particularly dominant four years later at the Tokyo Olympics where he won the gold and set a new record in the 800 m, and won gold in the 1500 m.
