Well, he did resign voluntarily on the 7th of February. He explicitely said he did not want anybody to get hurt. And now you are telling me that he was undemocratic? Gayoom destroyed the country through his authoritarian 25 year reign. Now you people complain about a democrat, and how he has not done much of what he wanted to achieve. well, if you dont see democracy itself as an accomplishment, then you are a people who will never be satisfied...

@sexcmusica there is nothing he CAN do, other than raise awareness of the situation, duh. and the only way to do that is foreign publicity!!! he is the best thing for the country that came out of the 30 years of dictatorship, and you know it. why do you narrow minds always have to find fault in everyone? appreciate their efforts, its more than you have ever done.
