You can still get sick at 11 months post-op!

Just another update in my gastric bypass journey. 11 months or so post-op, 130lbs down since March 28th, 2008. Got really sick the other night and vomited in a parking lot--glamorous!!! Sorry about the abrupt ending! I had to go punch my dog. (I didn't really punch her guys)

Me and you start at the same weight! i am sooo excited to find someone that started at where I am, so I can have some sort of idea for myself. My surgery is May 12th and I am SUPER scared, but you look great, I hope I have the same progress! WTG!!

Thanks for sharing it's a good reminder. I'm in the pureed stage. At about a tablespoon of each food, then I'm DONE. I use a timer a lot. I posted a couple videos too.

Absolutely! Good idea, the timer-that probably helps a lot. I'll check your vids out! Good luck in the pureed stage :)

Wow, sorry you're getting sick. I haven't had any vomiting issues since the very beginning when I could actually gag on water. Sonetimes I wish I would get sick as i tolerate just about everything. Your dog is a cutie...looks like he keeps you busy!

My wife is 3 weeks post surgery. I wish she hadn't gotten it done. I loved her just the way she was, but due to health issues, she had it done. I supported her because in had nothing to do with vanity, but I'm afraid for her and what may come. She is weak and tired right now, so I want to ask you if that's how you felt at 3-4 weeks after? If yes, what did you eat/take to combat the fatigue? I pray you're well and thanks for reading. Mike

Hey Darlin... It went okay. I was in and out of the hospital for the past month to get things straightened out. I am just now starting to go towards the positive.  I have lost since surgery 54 pounds since the beginning 86. Today I am okay, every day is a struggle, but the struggle is very slowly progressing forward! You look great!
