Whats with all you people crying how scary that was. You wanna see scary check out gordon smileys crash or gilles villeneuve crash. I so tired of the driver complain when they crash. AJ foyt and mario andretti raced in the deadliest era in racing and never once bitched and moaned like the racers today. By the way Newman bobby allison flew into the catch fence and almost died at pocano and never once complained. Why not just race slot cars because thats what its becoming.

Im sick and tired of the media pounding on Nascar to do something about the unsafe racing at superspeedways and driver complaining. First of all, RACING IS A DANGEROUS SPORT people. Accidents will happen and drivers will get hurt. Theres no getting around that. For those that dont want to do it, Go Home! Fixing the underside of the rear bumper will help but you will ALWAYS have cars flipping in autoracing. Drivers today should THANK NASCAR for building these safe car, i know, i worked there.

i hate it when in situations like this happens the nascar commentators get so emotional and they tell everybody to think positive, hope for a miracle, etc. and then when they survive, it was like there was no point of them saying any of that shit.

@chief1tooth Are you freaking kidding me? That tells me your not a racer. I've hit a wall at 100 mph. It'll knock the wind out of you. That'd be scary as hell. Only reason Ryan is alive is that 29 being there because he has the springs in the suspension, that dampened the hit. .

It was nice to see that they put those rear spoilers back on these CoT cars because that wing really played a factor in why these cars flipped 10 times more than the old cars. You see how tall they are and the amount of air that gets under it when it turns around is so drastic that the flaps on the cars were just pointless at that point.

@chief1tooth for modern day this is a little scary. but a scary crash is more along the lines of someone hitting the wall really hard. not a flip. a flip or a blowover, whatever you want to call it, is more spectacular than it is scary
