I am a ABNCD ( american born non confused desi) born in idaho and can speak my mother tongue as good as i can talk english and spanish. Never seen a Indian born in America who cannot speak their mother tongue..So not completely a rational rebuttal but i take your point with humility and a pinch of salt.

Actually he was not dumb because in western countries their are many Indians who cant speak a word of Hindi/Urdu.

Yeah ofcourse he understood him it IS Hindi. You really won't understand the difference between "old" hindi and modern hindi.

obviously someone does, cause the guy understood him. thats pretty impressive for a computer no matter how you look at it. especially for an alpha type test. they made it obvious enough that it wasnt perfect, but the fact that they could do it all and have someone understand is impressive
