How I vent my tent...
8 inch value line (740 cfm) - On when lights are on.
6 inch hydrofarm (440 cfm) - exhaust (controlled by climate controller)
6 inch hydrofarm booster (160 cfm) - intake (controlled by climate controller)
4 inch hydrofarm booster (100 cfm) - running lights off cycle only
All vents have back draft dampers to prevent c02 leakage as well as back drafts. Always trying to maintain a 2/1 ratio. (intake to exhaust). This prevents my tent from creating too much negative pressure. Protects the structure as well as the fabric.

  • hey whasup man. I've been tryin to find a 5x5 tent. could you tell me where you found it? thanks! nice vid and setup!

    peace

  • @GSXRDANK I got mine through ebay. Some store up north had it. It was around $200 bucks. But if you are willing to spend a little more, get the darkroom 5x5. Much better construction.

  • yo did you just google the word essential the week before you made this video or what

  • I got a DR150Pr0 5x5 tent with a 600 watt, you need 2 fans. 6" 435CFM for a 530CFM carbon filter and an exhaust fan 8" at 745CFM and its perfect!

  • a bro trying to get some of them sfv clones.Hit me back asap

  • i have got 1 4inch fan with filter, now silly question but am new grower,do i need 2 of them? in and out? at moment i am using it to draw old air out,is this right? ior do i put the filter inside the tent ?

  • @fractal420 My cap Air 3 Climate Controller does that for me. When it senses that the room is cooler (temp) and dry (humidity), it engages the c02 provided the lights are on via photocell which is built into the air 3. If the climate exceeds the limits you set, it engages the fan. That way, very minimal c02 is lost. Duct dampers are also very important in keeping c02 in. That way, the duct stay closed when c02 is on. When the fan is on, the duct will open.
