  • I agree with this guy. I used to correct my dog for being dog aggression. Made a very big problem. Now I've been counter conditioning him, so he actually enjoys the presence of dogs. It works, I don't see why people insist on corrections. IMO positive methods give quicker results while the dog still trusts you. Most of the dogs i see trained with corrections have this thing about them, like they don't trust you not to slap them over the head...

  • @Rabiesist you are as dumb as he is. We know what we know about dogs from studying them, not guessing which is what most of you people do.

You obviously have never been to university, but when we study dog behaviour we use REAL DOGS, not books you moron. We study and research all groups of canids, in a clinical setting as well as in the wild.

As far as treating people with respect I think you need to talk to your drunk Russian friend about that.

  • there is nothing "wrong" or "right" ppl.. there is what to do in each single and different situation. Because cecar correct a dog in one way, does not mean start to kick your dog. it is about doing the correction right, effectively and in right time.

  • you're all wrong and right, but to meet a dog and owners with that attitude you have in your comments is no good. you have to be open to the dog and it's situation to really notice what the dog really need in that situation.. and you have to perform dog psychology, and dogs do correct each other, learn from them!! for a pack to function they need all induviduals to be stable, an unstable dog in the pack is not acceptable, so then the owner has to be the packleader.

  • @thecelt1963 and not even the university or degrees has helped you ... you really need to treat others with respect and start learning from LIFE instead of waving around with all your fancy degrees and papers ... a BOOK can not teach you dog psychology. the best teacher in dog psychology is a pack of wild dogs, there is nothing a human in some fancy university can teach you better bout dogs than dogs can. i actually trust the russian more on this, cause he seem to have more EXPERIENCE!

  • i need hlp i have a 8 month old pitbull bluenose his nice with some dogs if there nice too but there some chihuahuas nex door like 5 n they always bark at my dog n my dog gets mad n trys going towards them n i try to stop him n he tried bitting me n he got my leg a little n i take him out n play with him wat should i do

  • @mit871chell Cesar pulls leashes all the time.

  • @mit871chell

I have a degree in Animal Behaviour with dog behaviour being my specialty. So if you want to argue facts and discuss Skinner Operant Conditioning, then lets go

Your information is as wrong, and outdated as just about everything else in your country. If you are going to make a reasonable comment, I suggest you sober up, go to university and learn how to think critically using the latest science and research ....not opinion and conjecture based on what you THINK you know.

  • @thecelt1963 I live in Moscow, Russia; there are thousands. Do you tell your children not to do something? You look at them stern and tell them to quit [human psychology] , for dogs since they lack verbal communication, they nip at each other when one is doing something wrong [dog psychology]. You're a fucking idiot, just insulting me; never actually presenting any evidence.
