Click2Print, the DMP FLO Suite web to print application hosted by Drukkerij Kuypers

For Drukkerij Kuypers (one of the bigger printing companies in The Netherlands) weve created an application with a minimum of maintenance, in which a lot of people can quickly start working. Drukkerij Kuypers uses the application as a service for large national companies/customers with typically dozens or hundreds of sales locations/branches. People from each store can log in and order their own promotional material (ads, brochures, business cards etc.). Each customer contains a number of branches, so data in the front site is only shown to the right branch. When ordering ads or other materials with addresses, all data is filled in automatically from the database (although the user may change it).

Multi-Press uses a very easy to use point-and-click interface to let non-technical users select items. This is visualized by 3 levels of drop-down menus. This leads to a wizard of questions, pointing the user to the correct asset or template.
Depending on the settings in the back-office of FLO and the variable items in the template, the user can modify the contents of the chosen template.

After finalizing and approving the document, the output is linked directly to the MIS (Multi-Press in this case). Orders are created automatically, PDF files copied to production servers, and so on

Next to the W2P application, Drukkerij Kuypers also hosts thousands of images for their customers. When downloading images, users are presented with a very simple interface. Each choice brings more choices, and is filled from the same structure that exists in assetFLO.

When the right image has been found, the user is presented with the choice of output resolution. For PowerPoint, For Printing, etc These choices correspond with conversion profiles in the FLO Digital Asset Management System assetFLO.

Most of the interface belongs to Multi-Press. FLO is embedded under Beeldbank (asset management) and Click2Print (the W2P interface). Multi-Press sends parameters about the user and the choice of template or asset to FLO, on which FLO knows on what to show in the browser.
