Accents and Super-Secret International Dinners

So as some of you may know, I'm in San Diego this summer on a Summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ. You can find out more about my project at http://www.thesdsp.com/ I'm here with 150 other students from around the country for 10 weeks.

Sorry I couldn't say more about the International Dinner... apparently we're not allowed to disclose information about it, for people who may be wanting to go on this summer project in the future. So they can have the same experience I had, not knowing what to expect going into it.

Basic linguistic theory is that everyone has an accent. The thing is that Michiganders have what is close to the Midwest accent, which is used in most broadcasts and stuff.
