Not totally false, but doesn't apply to todays batteries. This would have applied to old classic batteries that were rubber cased. Todays batteries are plastic cased and we are fine to store them on basement concrete floors.

at 1:05 you mention not storing batteries on concrete because they will lose their charge. This is a myth, totally false.
