A one metre radio controlled proa that I designed and built myself sailing and shunting in light wind

Model uses balestron rig and twin, counter rotating rudders. The rudders are symmetrical fore and aft so they work on both tacks without having to be adjusted when shunting.

The overhanging lee pod enables the model to right itself from angles up to 100 degrees.
