A review of some of the messianic prophecies that Christians claim were fulfilled by Jesus. It reveals that many of the "prophecies" are nothing more than Christian fabrications, misquotations, and misapplications of passages in the Hebrew scriptures. By the Bible's own standard, then, Jesus was not the Messiah.

  • After watching this for a little while something smelt fishy so I looked at your profile and saw you identify as an atheist. If you are an atheist doesn't it stand to reason you don't believe in the idea of a messiah in the first place? Your video title is a deception. I thought I was coming to a jewish or possibly muslim video showing why they don't accept Jesus, from their scriptural viewpoint. Your title of the video should at least let us know its from an atheist pov, not scriptural. In

  • @MrTrevorsChannel "I thought I was coming to a jewish or possibly muslim video showing why they don't accept Jesus,"

Preconceived notions you had before you viewed the video are not my problem. The fact is--regardless of whether I were Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, atheist, or whatever--the prophetic portrait of Jesus presented by Christians does not comport with the Jewish scriptures with which they claim it comports. You should look up the ad hominem fallacy and learn to avoid it in future.

  • @ProfMTH Its just a suggestion Prof. If I had that pre-notion from the title, and I do watch a lot of videos pertaining to God, then I'm sure lots of other people might have it too. I'm sorry you felt it was an ad-hominim attack. And forgive me for adding for having a judging tone in my original post. I change it to mean I suggest your title or in the description you let us know where you really come from, that's all. Is that fine? Sorry, God Bless you.~

  • @MrTrevorsChannel "Its just a suggestion Prof."

A pointless one, I'm afraid. As I said in my previous comment--but it seems to have gotten by you--it doesn't matter at all whether I'm atheist or Muslim or Jewish or whatever. The case is the case. You either deal with the case on its merits or your don't. So far, you've only shown concern about my beliefs and you've totally ignored the case. Again, investigate the ad hominem fallacy. It would be a worthwhile investment of your time.

  • @ProfMTH 'and you've totally ignored the case' only because as I said your video wasn't what I was really looking for. I was wrong by the title. Anyways, God Bless you, bye now.

  • @MrTrevorsChannel What case have you made? You haven't addressed the substance of this video at all. It's best that you go. It seems you have nothing of substance to say.

  • I don't think it matters one jot whether we believe he was the Messiah or not. I'd contend that all these arguments are sidelined by the small fact that the Romans though he was and so he was Crucified for Sedition With the blame for that transferred onto the Jews. (ham fistedly by the early writers) My belief is he was a sacerdotal pretender and the Romans couldn't/wouldn't tolerate that. His crime displayed at the head of the cross with its significance distorted in the following centuries.

  • @ninjamasterbro I forgive you, thank you for your words and blessings. Amen. <3 :)

  • @MrTrevorsChannel Peace Be Upon You Brother And Blesses From All Mighty God To You, Amen. It's Okay. I Understand That You Thought This Man Was A Muslim Or Any Other Religion. Due To Respects I'm Sorry For Saying Muslims Have To Believe. I Thought You Did Not Know Islam. Thats Why. Forgive Me Brother.

  • @ninjamasterbro Forgive my mistake, and thank you for believing in the messiah. Bless you.

  • @MrTrevorsChannel I am a Muslim. ALL Muslims HAVE TO accept Jesus as The messiah or they go to Hell. Plane and simple. We have to believe in Jesus Christ like we do believe in Moses.

  • @MrTrevorsChannel if anyone doesn't agree with you, he must be fishy

are Gypsies, Jews, mentally handicapped and people who don't really want to bother with a dead heretic called Jesus acceptable by you Mein Fuhrer? Sieg ... Jesus

  • @ProfMTH that doesnt seem to make sense. You dont believe, it but because you dont dont believe doesnt separate the fact that it did happen. I dont really think you can say yea or nay because all you have to go on is scripture and some angry jews.
