29 July 2011.

Millions around Egypt, and most concentrated in Tahrir Square, Cairo, called for the rule of Islamic law. Chants included "islamiyyah Islamiyyah" and "The people desire the rule of allah's law" (الشعب يريد تحكيم شرع الله).

"It took 400 years of Muslim rule before there was even a Muslim majority there (ie no forced conversions)"

Why force people to convert on pain of death, when you can extort special taxes from them? Why not forbid Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men, and allow Muslim men to marry non-Muslim women? Why not kill those who leave Islam? Not every example of Islamic imperialism was peaceful.

  • ALLAHHUMMAH AZZIL-ISLAMA WAL MUSLIMIN......

  • @525mujahid Alahumdulillah, i want to correct you please, NEXT IS FRANCE THEN AMERICA INSHALLAH, TAKBIR ALLAHUAKBAR.

  • Fuck your evil. Fuck your ignorance. Fuck your hate.

  • @ritchloui An excellent example is Spain. It took 400 years of Muslim rule before there was even a Muslim majority there (ie no forced conversions), and significant non Muslim populations remained and flourished (The Jewish Golden era in Spain coincided with Islamic rule). However, when Spain fell into Christian rule, after about 50 years all Muslims had been forced to convert to Christianity, and even earlier than that Jews were forced to convert and were also expelled.

  • Allahu Akbarrr

  • yes, Allah!!!!!!!!

  • @minfrom Thank you, min, for the kind words, and the fact that you have sent 5 kids to school is a blessed act to do, and in so doing you honor Allah! Good for you. I certainly honor your kind actions, and I am glad to "know" you in this way. There are many Yemenis and Palestinians in my neighborhood - all very good and kind neighbors whom I am happy to call friends.
