i live in crawford county il and we also not supposed to have bobcats or mountin lions or panthers but i'm 21 and i'v seen and all three and shot at all and mountin lions are common
site about once every two weeks and the scream in the vidio and its a bob cat mountain lions scream like a woman geting there hair pulled out dont let my name confuse you i practacly live out side

@brandondarr nope its a bobcat. I've heard mountain lion and this is a bobcat.

Sounds like a great blue heron type of bird getting scared off the roost or startled. To me it sounds like i can hear the separated squawks, at least 3 of them.

bobcats sound like a woman being murdered... and cougars have the growl type scream heard in the video.

@brandondarr Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure since mountain lions are not "supposed" to be in our area according to the experts. But it did sound louder than a bobcat to me too.

@itsalison1 May I ask where you're from? Mountain lions are not "supposed" to be in my area either, but I was face to face with one a year ago.

@keititatsudoshi This video was taken in a rural area about 25 miles from Mobile, AL. Very wooded, swampy and a river not far from here. I suppose it could be a Florida panther that has roamed this way.
