hey dude, its good, guitars a bit of a humbug, but that cant be helped by you :) i play this song, in my band, try playing it with a capo on 4th with the chords:
Am, F, C, for the verse and G, Am, F, G, Am, F, Am, F, C for the chorus. Figure it out, exactly the same octave and such, just easier to play. :)

hey dude great playing, steady singing, but well id like to help you with your tone man, i really like john mayers music cause of his care with tone, i cant play that song perfect but look you need to play that C# using the 9th fret of the 6th string, id do a video but dont have my amp here, so that you can see the change in tone, try out man, but great start
