This was the second full length Waterfire in Kansas City. This particular performance was the third of three (La Barcheta with guitarist Beau Bledsoe, E lucevan le stelle and Nessun Dorma), Nathan receiving an encore for this rendition of Nessun Dorma.

...After a disastrous last year, where rain flooded the 85 hand-made braziers into the Blue River after a torrential downpour turned Waterfire into Water...Water this night was perfect and much appreciated by everyone, especially the Convention and Visitors association and the JE Dunn Co., who sponsored the 55 replacement braziers and the anchoring system keeping them in place along Brush Creek on the Country Club Plaza.

Waterfire is an art installation conceived by Barnaby Evans in Providence, RI. It has been the top attraction in Providence for years and has traveled around the globe, delighting those who are fortunate enough to have seen it.

The piano Snippet at the end is also Nessun Dorma played by Jazz Pianist, Mike del Ferro. Mike Nathan and Beau all met in Russia, playing at the Diaghilev Seasons Festival in Perm, Russia.

The three will be performing in Kansas City in March piggy-backing off another concert by mike in Kansas City.
