These are just some of the conditions long-time wine writer James Halliday considered when he put together the latest 2010 edition of the 'Australian Wine Companion'. He's picked the eyes out of a tough 2009 vintage, given us his selections and predictions for the year ahead.
Along with the 'Companion', Halliday has also released a new reference book for wine lovers, 'The Australian Wine Encyclopedia'.
