We should only have Sheriff's who appoint deputies. The Sheriff's would feel accountable because we the people can vote the bums out and we the people can reelect the good ones who's SERVITUDE is for thy people, not the tyrants!!!

@GodGunsGutsGlory777 thats a little overboard. i think city police and state police should remain but there should be a much higher demand from our government and in turn the citizens concerning raising the standards of joining these organizations. these people are not holding office. anybody and everybody should not have the opportunity to become a police officer. only the most qualified should be given the privilege to enforce our laws of this land.

you have done nothing short of what i would have done myself. you sir are a true patriot and champion of the bill of rights. you should be thanked and the officers and agents should be tried for federal crimes against a US citizen. you sir had your civil rights violated without cause. there are some morons that would say you should have complied and that is the problem with sheep. these violations of our rights need to be challenged before we do have a police state. Yes badace - twice. After the judge dismissed the charges with prejudice the prosecutor appealed and had the judge's dismissal reversed. The case then went to a jury trial and the jury found him not guilty as well.

The local county prosecutor bent over backwards kissing the Border Patrol's butt in trying to secure a successful conviction for them only to have his butt handed to him on a silver platter not once but twice.
