The Hammer Man can help you hit 300 yard drives with a very unique approach. He trains his forearms to be very strong and to have very dense muscle tissue. He uses a whole array of hammers to drill with in his quest to have one of the most unusual approaches to hitting a golf ball. Because of the focus and strength required to track a bouncing golf ball off sledge hammers and different weighted claw hammers and ball peen hammers he has developed usual hand wrist and forearm power. This allows him to swing much heavier golf clubs than normal. Thus as a result he can take a much shorter backswing and still pound golf balls out there consistently in the 300 plus range on the course. There is so much more momentum behind his ball strike. One could say that that his backswing is one of the shortest ones in the world in relation to how far he can hit his woods and irons. When you study the physics of hittting a golf ball there are many variables to what makes an efficient ball flight. Read Michael J. Lavery book entitled Whole Brain Power and learn some of his secrets to help you hit your drives in excess of 300 yards.

  • Do you hit the rest of the clubs in your bag this way also? My brother in-law-does the baseball finish also. Works for him.

  • @oldtrafford77 I hit my clubs with either the two hand finish or the one hand finish. It all comes down to feel. You can check out other videos with my irons with the one hand finish. Check out my book._Hammer

  • video is so dark can't see what your doing

  • @bobobba442 There are other videos to check out.

  • I notice you position your right foot pulled back in the stance. Is this to help you to keep from swaying with all that weight in the driver?

  • @Pineandfeather It is because I use a closed stance to get my draw. The heel of my right foot is almost 6 feet off the ball. The idea is to get the most out of the forces of gravity and centrifugal forces. All of the extra weight carries my club out further than normal. My goal is to stay centered and then push as hard off the ground with my right foot. Watch my right foot side up 12 inches. This makes all the weight transfer into the golf ball strike. Thanks for your interest. Hammer

  • I think people let go the club hoping that itll hit the ball again

  • haha, nooo way your hitting the ball 300 !!! haha

  • Releasing the hand will not let you hit it farther dude you let it go way into the follow through so it doesn't matter if you do or not.

  • Hello All. My name is Allen Lenth and I found this video l just about a month ago. I am a self-taught golfer and next month I will have been seriously studying and playing for 1 year. After just about 3 1/2 weeks of hammer drill training - I hit the double mallet over 500 times and I hit the golf ball between 325 and 355 yards on my 138 slope golf course. Right now I am doing that just 2 or 3 times a round - BUT I AM REALLY DOING IT on 5 pars that matter to me.

  • I'd like to go golfing one day. Seems very difficult though.
