http://www.904inspect.com- During a recent Jacksonville home inspection I hired to do the clients told me that there was severe water damage, but they couldn't figure out why there was a problem. During the home inspection I discovered the problem was that although the kickout flashing was not properly installed at the time the home was built. See what caused the problem and the damage that was caused by this defect. For your Jacksonville Home Inspection call 904-891-6309. http://www.904inspect.com

Great Video John
I bet your clients were thrilled when you found that defect as most stucco repairs are very expensive.

Good find... This is the sort of thing the average home buyer would have never found on their own.

The flashing looks like it was installed after the siding and roof were put on, notice what looks like a tear in the stucco. Also the flashing is missing a turn-back lip; that flashing leaks the entire length.
You can bet the stucco was also incorrectly installed; the moisture barrier should of prevented water on the OSB. And OSB is not recommended for stucco siding.
Good video, bet it was a difficult home to inspect.
