Compressing a Large VideoFile to YouTube with Virtual Dub

In this video I'll show you how to compress and re-size a video into a format that YouTube will like.

Some additional notes that are not covered in the video...

The video that I compress is 720x480, so it looks a little scrunched when it goes down to 320x240, this is UNAVOIDABLE.

Also, YouTube is now recommending that you resize your videos to 640x480...this is the same aspect ratio as 320x240 (YouTube is constantly changing their mind about this one). The results of using either are basically the SAME. When you watch a YouTube video you ARE watching 320x240.
