Lollie Ortiz, San Francisco artist and designer, brings her contemporary art to you.
An imaginative, award-winning artist and prolific designer, Lollie Ortiz has a love of laughter and of humanity that emanates from everything she touches. Successfully switching direction and combining her years of experience in design, graphics, photography and character art, she is creating a more personal form of artistic expression in contemporary art.
Elegant. Dynamic. Sophisticated. Colorful. Exciting. The contemporary art canvases and images Lollie creates convey her talent, versatility, perceptions and spirit. Her passion for simplicity, bright colors and dramatic compositions embraces most of her work with these elements as a central theme. Her energy pervades her art simply because she loves what she does.
At ARTslanT.com, www.artslant.com/sf/artsales/browse, Lollie exhibits her contemporary fine art prints and canvas images -- sophisticated and collectible quality works reasonably priced for those who desire to begin collecting contemporary art.
The range of Lollie's talent and versatility allow her to create everything from edgy urban style art to fine art. Her desire to share her work in order to lift someone's spirit, help them connect with their own inner passions, or just make them smile is her motivation and what drives her endeavors. She wants people to be able to celebrate art in their daily lives.
After success at a career in design and film, Lollie enjoyed a wonderful career as advertising designer, artist, entertainment producer and toy inventor. Around 2006, she began focusing on producing her photography, illustrations and digital art as shopping sources for online personal gifts, fashion wear and wall decor.
Her work's purpose has evolved to include sharing her art to promote awareness for worthwhile causes: donating use of her work to ARTconnectsLA (artconnectsla.org), Common Grounds of Santa Monica (the only comprehensive HIV agency serving the west side of LA), ART FOR AIDS, Visual Aids Big Blue Event, and Migraine Expressions (a migraine art and literature book for migraine awareness and research funding).
