Azteca-7 relayer analog channel 2 from Tampico, Tamaulipas was
detected in Tampa, Florida via sporadic-e at a distance of 1,036 air
miles airing the American animated sitcom Simpsons.

Signal mid-point was 518 miles, directly in the center of the
Gulf of Mexico.

Earths magnetic field (Bz component) dipped to -5 during the late
0001 UTC hour.

At the time of reception Geomagnetic K-index of 5 (NOAA scale:
G1 - Minor) threshold reached at 0001 UTC.

Nine hours prior to the above mentioned event, Geomagnetic
K-index of 6 (NOAA scale: G2 - Moderate) threshold was reached
on September 3 at 1500 UTC.

Potential Impact: Area of impact primarily pole-ward of 55 degrees
