If you want the latest version of the os go to your carrier website for 2 reasons, A. It's free, and B. It will not break your phone unless you downgrade your os from 6.0 to 5.0. If you break your phone it's your own fault.

I have installed the software version 6.0.0 from the website you showed us. However, my Windows Vista cannot seem to detect me blackberry. The desktop manager with the device PIN as blank.

Please help! I downloaded OS 6 to my T-Mobile bold and it works perfectly except for the fact that I can't get any apps... It won't allow me to get BB app world and it said I have an "unsupported operating system". Also, if I restore my setting using my DM will that interfere with my current OS?? PLEASE HELP!

Ummm thats really weid, I do not know what you did wrong, did you have the phone plugged in the WHOLE TIME?! If you did it should have worked, try it again, keep it plugged in, check the box, wait till it opens or open it yourself, and wait for it to show up, it should work

For Super:
Its extremely fast, barely no lag what so ever. This is a great improvement from os 5, the web browser, media, and the look of it is just amazing! There is one glitch that I have noticed which is when you open up the text messages and you answer someone, but you forget to type in the type box, then it randomly scrolls to your older messages then you have to press r to type, then once you send it, it all goes blank and you can no longer see anyones messages from that person, its weird.
