One of the best jazz soundtracks on film can be found in the original version of the "Thomas Crown Affair" from 1968 starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. It was written by three-time Academy Award winner and French composer Michel Legrand. "The Chess Game" is used as the background music to a sensuous chess match played between Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway in the picture.
I have to break out this movie just to watch the chess scene--everything's perfect, the seductive flirting by Dunaway and McQueen and the wonderful music that accompanies it--it's fascinating to watch and I never get tired of it.

dommage que ce ne soit pas l'extrait du film , un duo d'echec plein de sensualté ou peu à peu Steve Mac Queen perd pied devant la beauté de son adversaire , la musique colle à merveille à cette scéne

This is too ba. Steve McQueen is the master partaker and witness of life.
