Helicopter Crash on Hospital Roof in Grand Rapids, MI

A helicopter crashed on top of Spectrum Health hospital in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. I happened to be in the area when it happened.
The two passengers are okay, and survived with minor injuries.
*Note*: Please excuse my odd commentary; I was kind of in shock.

I was a vendor working at that hospital when it happened. I was up in the elevator penthouse, and it felt like the end of the world. Scary as hell. Cool video, I didn't think I'd be able to find anything about it online anymore.

Landing a helicopter on top of a hospital is never the best idea. At some point, things will eventually go wrong and then you basically have a bomb on top of a hospital.

Thats one of the first time that people were OK after a helicopter crash that ended in flames, i googled this and nobody died or had serious injuries

Well I was on street level, therefore obviously unable to get anything more! Also the fire was out (thank goodness) by the time I got there.

Yeah I didn't realize that at the time...but it was in the very near vicinity so I assumed! I took the video about 5 minutes after it all happened and didn't have all the info yet. :)
