  • You guys are exagerating. "the best on this planet". There are dozens & dozens of pianist with brilliant, superbe technic in this world. From these virtuoso pieces u cannot argue that he's a poet, a deep artist. For that u need the gift of expression. My personal opinion is that he is just a good professional. but that's it.

  • I get the impression that the pianist doesn't like this piece!

  • I just saw him. He was playing earlier romantic works. He's amazingly smooth and subtle; a true servant to the music. As a person he moves and responds slowly with little reaction; it took multiple curtain calls to get an encore from him which was indescribably beautiful. He seems like Dinu Lipatti; totally dedicated but not physically or in some other way, strong. Truly someone best appreciated in person.

  • @ifreshwater no he does not. in this concert, he played a fazioli piano (one can see the label on an other video)

  • @680stp He plays a Steinway good sir.

  • what brand piano does Mr.Libetta play? (can't see label on instrument)

  • @michaelnyman1 I agree! This sounds fine. Why did so many dislike it??

  • @pianofolle I'd like to get ahold of some of his other recordings. I feel like on YouTube, primarily his virtuoso playing is featured, but his repertoire includes the complete Beethoven Sonatas. I'd like to hear those! Then I could decide more accurately how I like him. But from what I've heard, I think he's very good.

  • Why the other people didn't liked it?

  • @Requiemx181 'arronzata'? (LOL)

  • @guglielmotto

    perchè no..!

  • @MrPianpianino

La tarantella si balla in gruppo :D

    mica UNA, quindi!
