This happened on a fishing trip for sharks when our Captain went absolutely mental on another boat that crossed our chum slick.... Enjoy.

  • Thanks for the comment! When you go shark fishing you attract the fish to your boat by creating a "chumslick" - this is a very fishy and oily trail your boat creates as it drifts along. In the video another boat crossed and interrupted our chumslick which was a couple of miles long aat the time.

  • @peebs15 So tell me, dweeb...im mean Peeb, exactly how is the skipper on the "offending" boat supposed to know that this jughead has just covered a huge swath of water with a chumline? Show me the relevant boating regulations covering flags and signals that; 1) indicates by visual means that a fishing boat has thrown a chumline, and 2) that a vessel is required to give way to a chumline, whether he knows it is there or not.

  • @peebs15 Thanks for asking. In Hatteras I fished on the Chaser with Capt. Steve Jones out of Odens Dock, The Hatteras Blue with Capt. Mike Warren out of Hatteras Harbor, The Hatterascal out of Teach's Lair, and The White Eagle with Capt. Shane Austin out of Odens. Out of Oregon Inlet my regular job was with capt. Paul Lester on the Osprey I also freelanced on others including Outrigger with Capt. Aaron Wright, Rebait with "Junior" Baum, Gal-o-Mine with Benjie York and a few others.

  • @plbuster well next time your at work ill swing by and make sure you dont get anything done and dont get paid so you cant feed your family and ya there is plenty of ocean so why did he have to come set up right behind him????

  • @tbone2872 what boats did you mate on i mate on a few private boats our of PC

  • @peebs15 okay so this asshole is gona make a long ass line blocking your path to where you need to go...

  • Well, you set up a chumline along a major thoroghfare and it's gonna get crossed. Freakin' "captain" probably thinks he owns the whole area. And you "pro's" can go fuck yourselves.

  • (cont'd) so as not to drive the tuna down and the next thing you know some dipshit in a twin outboard center console goes right through the middle of the school then bam no more tuna for anyone. I would love to fish with a captain who is this dedicated to his clients having a good trip.

  • Both you guys are right. I was a professional mate on various charter boats in the Hatteras N.C. and Oregon Inlet N.C. fleets and you should see the myriad of stupid shit "weekend warriors" do out on the water. No the captain does not own the water but there is basic etiquette that professional guys follow and the "tourons" don't understand. I've seen on more than one occasion where a tuna school would be feeding on the surface, all the charter guys would be fishing the outsides of the school..

  • i agree Ozzmosis and i didnt see a shark killed either. so all of you that dont understand. this guy does this for a living if somebody came around and screwed up your job how would you feel if because of that you lost money. If he didnt catch any sharks because of that then he doesnt get a good tip. You dont just run up on a charter boat like that in front or behind especially when he is running a slick. By the way the gun was fired into the water not at the other boat

  • AceLockCo you are a fucking idiot. Stupid PETA shit lover you can't even spell "loser" correctly.
