Videogame increase IQ because they force you to think logically and creatively thus making you smarter. I mean I guess that's what the "IQ specialist people" think. I just posted that earlier comment to kind of make fun of the study. Wow I'm not hating on gta or saints row but i was looking at stuff about IQ and they actually said that video games boosted your IQ but if you play open world games like gta it actually slightly lowers IQ. I don't really understand how but I just thought that was pretty funny.

@backlash96chris Well strategy games like Halo Wars probably do, but I think if any other video games make you smarter, open world games would, instead of shooters. IQ really doesn't mean much to me at my age since it is just mental age over chronological age, and I think the average 19 year old and the average 25 year old are mentally similar. And I played the GTA series since I was 9 years old and I turned out just fine ;)

Oh come on, what's so bad about Call of Duty? If you like it, play it; If we hate it, we just won't watch it! People these days think it's "cool" to bash CoD, but those people are just a bunch of hipsters. Good game, btw.

@Butterqup I don't really like it, but my neighbor (FatGuy) was trying to get me to record his gameplay which is what brought it up. It is just too mainstream, and FPS commentaries are stupid and boring to me.
